Idli & Vada
Idli and Vada are a popular and traditional breakfast combo in South India, often served with sambar, Tomato and Coconut chutney.
Idli are low in calories and fat, rich in fiber and proteins, easily digestible, and considered beneficial for heart health and blood sugar control. The fermentation process enhances nutritional value by increasing the availability of certain vitamins and minerals and making them a good source of probiotics.
Medu Vada is a good source of protein and other essential nutrients, but should be consumed in moderation due to being deep-fried.
